Fragments is my re-comer Album. I want to return to music making in 2019 and commence with a series of unpretentious yet unusual and unfinished tracks. This may result in one or the other hit. But hold betting on this 🙂

It was back in October 2014. My Wife and I where traveling through Scottland’s Speyside where we found this Gem. The Cluny Bank Hotel. Selden we had a better stay.
On the departure day before leaving we had a talk to Lloyd about the joys of life and how to express them to the world. I said „Maybe I do a song about you and our time here at the Cluny Bank Hotel.
Well here it is.

Hallo Stadtmensch
Wofür sind all diese Mauern gut?
Naja, sie sind schon recht praktisch. Zum Beispiel kann man Türen und Fenster reinbauen. Oder sein Snowboard daran lehnen oder einen Nagel einschlagen um ein Bild daran zu hängen. Das ist schon toll. Ich würde also gewisse Mauern schon vermissen, wären sie nicht.
Aber draussen in der Stadt? Die graue Einöde. Ist doch Bäh.
Bei uns in Basel gibt’s aber ein paar Wände die sind alles andere als grau. Nicht nur halbgrau sondern richtig bunt! Es sind die Wände der Bunterführung.
Diese wurde von Tarek Abu Hagen gestaltet. Dafür sind Mauern gut!
